Hi buddies

Trying to keep some order in my stuff, and willing to open up a little bit my works.

I finally decided to do myself a webpage collecting some projects of mine.
Pictures are smaller, but there are more of them, as I'd like to focus it more on the projects than on single picture (there's DA for it...)

I recognize nothing, since my last visit. I wonder who, within the old friends, is still around...
I had a hard year at my job, thus I had no time even for washing myself, definetly not for submitting pictures.

But something happens, everything is tied, like those ropes made out of tissues used by the magicians, so a world comes out by pulling a small corner of one of them, and still I keep pulling.

So a big thank you to the one who started the process, that for sure will never pass by, on this page.

Back to Santiago. I'm posting the pictures from the 4th roll out of 6. I hope to finish them before the summer comes, in order to be able to post other new pictures. But this series is something I'm proud of, I'm posting every single picture from the films, and every single one is a thought I don't want to forget. Is the result of some stream of ideas, and thus very precious to me.
So I must finish it

For if someone reads here, I'll give some explanation.
During winter 2006, my Colleague Roberto end I decided to go through the Santiago Way, a pilgrimage crossin whole spain, from france to the atlantic ocean. It's an ancient pilgrimage attributed to Saint James (wikipedia entry -----> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Way_of_S…)

in the end, in summer 2006 we walked from Pamplona to Santiago, sleeping in pilgrim's hostels and getting to know a lot of people and seeing a lot of places.
We were walking for 6-8 hour a day, leaving at 6 in the morning in order to avoid walking under the hot spanish summer sun...800 km walked in about 27 days

Right now I posted the pics from the first two  films of pictures I made. I made a few rolls, I chose really carefully the pictures when I was shooting, in order to minimize the weight of the rolls.
So, no choice right now; I'm putting on every single shot, even not so good pictures that in the end will go to scraps.
The whole stuff is a work of art itself,  I tried to make a reportage and here it goes...

Summer 2006 - Walking from Pamplona to Santiago de Compostela, almost 900km  through Spain.
It took almost one month, 2 pairs of socks and a pair of shoes.
Seen so many things, met so meany people, learnt so much...

Made around 200 pictures, between 5 and 10 every day, very well chosen in order to bring less films possible. Just my Canon and a 50mm.

Here we go.

Going on I could steal something from the diary I took an leave it here...
